bee smart city GmbH operates one of the largest global online platforms and communities in the smart city sector and supports municipalities and regions in the development and implementation of their smart city and digitization strategies as well as the associated initiatives and projects.
Among other things, we have developed the smart city concept of the city of Bochum and the smart city strategy of the city of Gelsenkirchen and supported both cities in applying for funding as "Model Projects Smart Cities" of the German Federal Government.
Your tasks:

Conception and execution of analogue and digital workshops in cities and counties to accelerate digital transformation in the public sector or to facilitate city and county development.

Researching current trends, best practices, technologies and methods in the field of smart cities and urban digital transformation as well
-
Supporting the acquisition of new consulting projects

Developing concepts and solutions together with our clients based on in-depth analysis through interviews and desktop research

Textualization and implementation of the developed concepts and strategies

Responsibility for the preparation of proposals and project documentation
We will involve you step by step in our advisory services methodology with a focus on the development of strategies and concepts for smart and sustainable cities and regions. It is important to us that you bring a pragmatic and target-oriented way of working to the table when it comes to the achievement of project milestones. In addition, a high degree of independent work, initiative and assertiveness is required.

Your profile:

Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in administrative or social sciences, business informatics or similar courses of study.

Initial project experience in the public sector, as well as initial knowledge of trends, technologies and methods relevant to the public sector, are an advantage

Excellent communication skills, especially in large discussion groups and within the team, initial moderation knowledge & skills

Project-related willingness to travel (nationally or internationally)

Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
