bee smart city GmbH operates one of the largest global online platforms and communities in the smart city sector and supports municipalities and regions in the development and implementation of their smart city and digitization strategies as well as the associated initiatives and projects.
Among other things, we have developed the smart city concept of the city of Bochum and the smart city strategy of the city of Gelsenkirchen and supported both cities in applying for funding as "Model Projects Smart Cities" of the German Federal Government.
Your tasks:

Management of Smart City projects in the public sector

Responsibility for project development and consulting for municipalities and municipal companies

Developing concepts and solution approaches together with our clients based on in-depth analysis.

Textualization and implementation of the developed concepts, strategies and solutions.

Preparation and moderation of analogue and digital or hybrid workshops in cities and regions in order to accelerate the digital transformation in the public sector and in city and district development

Client acquisition and preparation of offers/proposals.

Research on current trends, best practices, technologies and methods in the field of smart cities.

Your profile:

Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in administrative or social sciences, business informatics or similar courses of study.

Several years of project experience within the above-mentioned area of responsibility as well as an already extensive network in the public sector.

First experience in managing smart city projects and in-depth knowledge of trends, technologies and methods relevant to the public sector.

Excellent communication skills, especially in large discussion groups with different stakeholders, management levels and within the team, as well as excellent moderation skills.

Project-related willingness to travel (nationally or internationally)

Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
