Working Student Software Development (f/m/d)
We are looking for YOU! Become part of our 5+ member dev team and develop the bee smart city platform and our Smart City Toolbox SaaS application together with us.
About us:
The bee smart city platform is a social/business network in the field of smart city and is based on a cloud architecture. For this, we use Google Firebase in combination with microservices, which we run with Docker on Google's cloud run. For the services, we use the Python framework Flask. Experience in connected third party services like Stripe, Algolia, Paypal is helpful. For the frontend, we use Angular 10 with Angular-Universal, languages like Typescript/Javascript, HTML and (S)CSS are used.
The Smart City Toolbox is a SaaS product in development (application) for strategy and project management in the Smart City area. Currently, we are in the architecture selection process and you can contribute your thoughts directly. We are leaning towards the following technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Git/Gitlab, CI-CD, Flutter (possibly also Angular, React or Django).
Your tasks:

Supporting the further development and optimization of the bee smart city platform in the front- and backend as well as in the infrastructure.

Participation in a highly motivated, agile team in an innovative and dynamic environment

Close and intensive cooperation as well as communication within your team and with your bee smart city colleagues from the conception, marketing and sales departments

Taking over analyses and testing of new concepts or technologies
We work distributed and agile with
Slack, Clickup, Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook and
Trello/Jira (as needed). We will involve you step by step in the depths of the development of the toolbox and the platform. It doesn't matter to us whether you work from your
home office or from our modern offices in Mülheim an der Ruhr. We also offer
flexible working hours.
Your profile:

Enrolled student (m/f/d) in the field of computer science, software development, IT systems or in a comparable field

A keen interest in web development as well as technologies and tools such as: Docker, Git, CI/CD, Microservices, Kubernetes, Angular, Flutter, Flask, Stripe, Algolia etc. - you will get the practical experience with us!

An independent and responsible working style work and pro-active initiative

Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
